Darren received his certification in welding in 1996. In 1999, Darren graduated from State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO with an Associated of Applied Science in Machine Tool Technology. Soon after, Darren started Limback Welding specializing in farm implement and construction equipment repair, a s well as custom fabrication. In 2013, Darren was contacted about teaching for a short period of time to finish the spring semester for an absent instructor at Lex-La-Ray Career Center in Lexington, MO. Finishing the semester, started a nearly 10 year career in teaching Industrial Welding to juniors and seniors, as well as adults at Fort Osage Career and Technical Center in Independence, MO, and most recently at Fox Valley Career Center in Maple Park, IL; all while continuing his welding business on the side. Additionally, Darren designed welding labs for Missouri school districts, and also served as the President of the Manufacturing Division for the Missouri Association of Career and Technical Education.
