This welding class covers the basics of welding, and is for the do-it-yourself welder. Students learn about the different welding processes for oxy-acetylene and MIG welding. Students will instructed in safety procedures, and will practice safety at all times.
This course does not offer a certification in welding; however, it is valuable if you are a beginner and want to learn about MIG welding, or if you are semi-experienced and need critiquing for the enhancement of your current skillset.
All welding equipment and welding supplies are provided.
Students are required to supply their own welding helmet, welding jacket, safety glasses, and welding gloves. Students are to wear steel-toed leather boots and denim jeans with no holes to class.
